Day Three - Great Wolf Lodge and The Plaza

This evening we made another trip over to Kansas City for dinner. But before leaving the lodge we had to make time for a little photo shoot. In the background of the pictures is a miniature golf course. We haven't played yet, but may check it out tomorrow. Kyle may learn early how to become the next Tiger Woods..ha ha!!
I have heard many great things about the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City so we decided to make the trip. I had heard there was a Houston's Restaurant in the area, which is a favorite of mine in New Orleans, so we didn't have much problem deciding where to eat dinner. It was wonderful, as usual! I would be ecstatic if a Houston's opened in the STL area! John ordered the halibut for dinner. We haven't let Kyle eat fish before, but decided to give it a whirl and he loved it...much to our surprise. It's ashame we will have a hard time finding halibut, or any fish for that matter, on the children's menu at a restaurant.

After dinner, we strolled along the main street and did a little window shopping. We decided to head back to our "home" to get Kyle settled in at a reasonable hour. That plan didn't last long! While on vacation, plans change by the minute and we stopped and had ice cream in the lobby area of The Great Wolf Lodge and also Kyle joined in with Wiley's Dance Party for a few minutes. Kyle really has gotten into "dancing", but he doesn't have too much rhythm. Last night he was dancing with the musical entertainment by the pool and we had quite a few people watching our little dancer. Too cute!!

A few minutes ago, we viewed another fireworks display. The fireworks were from the Kansas City T-Bones ball field, the minor baseball team in the city. It was great to be close to the fireworks display and have a view right from our patio.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!
