Balloons for Kayleigh

For many months, I have been following the story of a little girl named Kayleigh Anne Freeman who was a micro preemie born weighing just one pound one ounce. Last week Kayleigh passed away and today her parents asked everyone to release pink balloons in her memory. Below are several pictures of the balloons being released here in St.Louis, Missouri.

Balloons For Ethan

For many months, I have been following the story of a little boy named Ethan Powell who had leukemia. Last week Ethan passed away and today at 3p.m. his parents asked everyone to release a blue balloon from their home in his memory. Below are a couple of pictures of the balloon released here in Missouri. This story really touched me not only because he was an infant, but seven years ago I lost my older sister to leukemia.

Must look closely, but you can see the balloon in the center of the picture.
